Formational retreats for high school and junior high students
A weekend-long retreat held each semester on the campus of Concordia University Ann Arbor, Tool Time is entirely lead and organized by CUAA students. Concordia hosts a high school student retreat in the fall (November) and a junior high school student retreat in the spring (March).
Tool Time consists of main sessions with student speakers, live worship music, hilarious skits, and fun games. After the sessions, Tool Time attendees break into small groups where the youth have an opportunity to spend time with Concordia students and youth from other churches. As a small group, students learn and grow together to create a community where they can deepen relationships with Christ and with each other.
Each Tool Time retreat also includes a servant event to reach out in the love of Christ to those in need. Students and adult leaders stay on campus in residence halls or in large rooms.
